PRIMO

Primo Blanco F1 Onion is a mid-season hybrid of white bulb onion with a vegetation period of 110-115 days. The bulbs have a round shape and a medium weight ranging from 160 to 300 grams depending on the sowing scheme. The inner scales are thick, very juicy and crunchy, with an excellent pearl-white color of dry scales, uniform and without green veins. Early formation of dense and opaque dry scales prevents greening of the bulbs, which contributes to their attractive appearance and high quality.

The Primo Blanco F1 hybrid is adapted to various growing conditions and responds well to mineral nutrition, while not fearing overcrowded sowings. It has a powerful root system, which ensures high yield — on average 60-80 tons per hectare. The onion is characterized by high resistance to diseases such as Fusarium and pink rot, which makes it a reliable choice for farmers.

This onion variety is suitable both for the fresh market and for long-term storage — more than 6 months. With a dry matter content of more than 8%, the bulb flesh remains very juicy and has good taste qualities. Recommended for cultivation in the climatic conditions of Ukraine, especially with a long daylength, with sowing at the end of winter or in spring.
