Ataman

The Ataman onion is a high-yielding hybrid with bronze-colored bulbs and a round shape. It matures on average 115-120 days after seedling emergence. The bulbs are characterized by a thin neck and a high dry matter content exceeding 10%, ensuring their high quality and good storage life. Fruit mass varies from 120 to 200 grams, making this variety convenient for mechanized harvesting and long-term storage, which can reach six months.

The foliage apparatus of Ataman is of medium strength, consisting of 8 to 12 leaves, is resistant to early lodging, which contributes to crop preservation and reduced losses. The variety tolerates elevated temperatures well, expanding its cultivation possibilities under various climatic conditions. Moreover, Ataman has high resistance to bolting, Fusarium, and root rot, which significantly enhances its reliability and reduces risks during cultivation.

This onion is intended for open-field cultivation and is optimally suited for mechanized harvesting due to its characteristics. Based on trial results, the variety's yield exceeds 100 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for commercial production. Seeds are packaged in bags of 250,000 pieces, ensuring convenience during sowing and planning of sown areas.
