Onion MARGO

Yield Potential and Operational Efficiency

For large-scale agricultural operations, the 'Margo' onion hybrid represents a high-performance choice. With a maturation period of 120–130 days, it demands precise management of irrigation and fertilizer schedules, yet compensates with a yield capacity exceeding 100 tons per hectare, making it a staple for high-intensity vegetable farming.

Key Operational Features

• Processing Readiness: The uniform, rounded shape of the bulbs simplifies the setup of mechanical sorting and packaging lines. High uniformity significantly reduces manual labor costs during post-harvest handling.
• Storage and Logistics: The robust skin structure ensures the onions withstand long-distance transport without compromising marketability, which is essential for fulfilling retail chain contracts.
• Agrotechnical Demands: 'Margo' responds best to systematic fertigation. Field experience indicates that maximizing the yield potential requires consistent nutrient delivery, particularly in the later stages of bulb development.

Choosing 'Margo' is an investment in technological consistency. If your operation relies on mechanized harvesting and has adequate storage facilities, this hybrid provides the high output and reliable quality necessary to optimize the bottom line of a commercial onion business.
