PASTURE 88 is a variety of alfalfa that is intended for use in feed mixtures, especially in pasture and hay agrofitocenoses. The plant is characterized by a semi-upright or upright bush with a height of from 120 to 140 cm with average bushiness and green nodes on the stems. The leaves are rhomboid, medium softness and dark green color, which indicates good photosynthetic potential. The variety differs in high winter hardiness and above-average drought resistance, which allows it to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions, including the North-Western, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Ural and West Siberian regions.
