Alfalfa Mriya Odessa

Stable Forage Production

The «Mriya Odeska» alfalfa variety is a preferred choice for farms focused on efficient forage production under variable climatic conditions. Developed through the collaboration of Ukraine’s leading agricultural research institutions, this variety offers high adaptability and consistent yield. With a plant height of 80–100 cm, it is perfectly suited for modern mechanized harvesting.

Practical Field Application

• Optimized Harvesting Cycles: The variety features strong regrowth energy after cutting. Depending on the soil and climatic zone, this allows for 3–4 cuts per season, significantly increasing total dry matter yield.
• High Nutritional Value: Due to its dense leaf coverage, «Mriya Odeska» provides forage with a high protein content, essential for maintaining livestock productivity.
• Soil Health Management: As a legume, this variety is an excellent precursor in crop rotation, fixing nitrogen in the soil and improving its physical structure for subsequent grain crops.

The genetic stability of «Mriya Odeska», overseen by the Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences and the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute, ensures predictable performance. For farm managers, this translates to a reliable tool for creating a solid feed base for winter, minimizing the impact of weather fluctuations on biomass production.
