Just 15 days after sowing, it can reach a height of up to 22 cm, ensuring a quick start of the vegetation period. Thanks to its ability to regenerate quickly, this variety allows for 3 to 5 cuts per season, which depends on weather conditions and cultivation specifics. FAST Lucerne has high forage value: in hay collected at the budding stage, it contains up to 10% protein, and in dried mass up to 20%, the quality of which is comparable to chicken egg protein. Moreover, the plant is rich in vitamins, phosphorus, and calcium, making it an indispensable source of nutrients for livestock. Green mass yield can reach 400-600 centners per hectare, and hay - 50-120 centners and more, ensuring stable and quality forage raw materials.
Growing FAST Lucerne contributes to soil improvement by enriching it with nitrogen, which increases fertility and land quality. The crop is widely used for field meadow seeding, grazing animals, as well as for obtaining green forage and hay. For successful cultivation, it is important to consider soil preparation, sowing dates, sowing rates, as well as to conduct top dressing and protection from diseases and weeds, which allows to fully reveal the variety's potential and ensure high productivity.
