Amur Shrub Viburnum – an early-ripening variety that starts bearing fruit already in the second year after planting and yields a harvest in late May–early June. The berries are large, up to 3 cm long, about 1 cm in diameter, weighing up to 3.5 g, colored violet-black, and have a sweet-sour taste without bitterness, making them especially pleasant both fresh and after canning or when making juices. Bushes reach a height of 150–200 cm, have an open form with crowns that can be spherical or oval but remain asymmetrical; bush diameter up to 100 cm.

The variety is distinguished by high yield – from 3 to 3.5 kg of berries per bush. The internal composition of the berries is rich in vitamin C and B group vitamins (B1, B2, B9), as well as trace elements and antioxidants, making them beneficial for health. Amur Shrub Viburnum is resistant to frost, diseases, and pests; however, in the first few years after planting, it is recommended to cover the bushes for winter for better protection against cold.

To ensure successful cultivation, the plant requires good lighting, wind protection, and proper planting depth – 10 cm. The distance between bushes should be about 200 cm so that plants have enough space for growth. The variety requires a pollinator, so it is advisable to have at least one other viburnum variety in the garden or use artificial pollination. Thanks to its taste and nutritional qualities, as well as ease of care, Amur Shrub Viburnum becomes an excellent choice for both home gardens and small commercial plantations.
