Daylily Agora

Elegance in Every Petal: The "Agora" Hybrid

The "Agora" daylily is a proud achievement of the M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. This variety is designed for those seeking a balance between spectacular aesthetics and the resilience typical of locally acclimated varieties.

The standout feature of "Agora" is its intricate, multi-layered flower structure. Unlike simple species daylilies, this hybrid boasts a lush, double-petaled form, reaching a diameter of 12 centimeters. The combination of delicate pink and rich yellow hues gives the plant a fresh, festive appearance that stands out even amidst complex garden arrangements.

Why choose this specific variety

• Adaptability: Bred in Ukraine, the variety is perfectly suited to local climate conditions, showing rapid establishment after planting.
• Growth Dynamics: "Agora" is characterized by a high growth rate, which allows it to quickly form a dense, healthy clump. It is an optimal solution for garden owners who want an immediate visual impact without waiting years for the bush to mature.
• Versatility: The flower serves as an excellent focal point for flowerbeds. Thanks to the 12-centimeter diameter of the blooms, "Agora" dominates visually in mixed borders and group plantings.

Important Cultivation Tips

Like all double-petaled hybrids, "Agora" requires good lighting. In deep shade, the intensity of the pink pigment may decrease, and the fullness of the flower may become less pronounced. The ideal location is a sunny spot with light shade during the hottest midday hours. To achieve maximum decorative effect, ensure regular watering during the bud formation stage, as the plant's rapid growth cycle demands consistent moisture and nutrient intake.

This variety is an excellent choice for both landscape designers and home gardeners who value the reliability of domestic breeding and the cheerful, vibrant colors that bring a garden to life.
