Daylily Tenderness

Practical Application in Landscaping

The 'Nizhnist' daylily is a selection breakthrough from the Kryvyi Rih Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, bred specifically to withstand local climatic challenges. When incorporating this variety into garden designs or commercial landscapes, its specific agrotechnical parameters provide significant functional benefits.

Agrotechnics and Positioning

Standing between 70 and 80 cm tall, this plant serves as an excellent mid-level element for multi-tier flowerbeds. With 12 cm wide, pink blossoms, it acts as a soft focal point. The standout feature for any gardener is its re-blooming capability, which ensures a vibrant floral display well beyond the primary blooming season without the need for plant replacement.

• Hardiness: Rated for temperatures down to -40°C, the plant is exceptionally winter-hardy and requires no protective covering.
• Light Requirements: Thrives in partial shade, making it the ideal solution for filling spaces beneath tree canopies or along the northern walls of buildings where sun-dependent varieties often fail.
• Utility: Its compact growth habit makes it perfectly suited for borders, mixed borders, and decorative flowerbeds.

Selecting 'Nizhnist' allows for lower maintenance costs, as the cultivar's inherent resilience to temperature fluctuations makes it a reliable choice for professional landscaping tasks that require long-term durability and visual appeal.
