Persian Jewel

Persian Jewel Lilies — an impressive perennial hybrid with contrasting, round-shaped flowers reaching 14-15 cm in diameter. The flowers have a lavender hue with pinkish-magenta tones, and their large green throat is adorned with a bright magenta-purple eye with a lilac sheen. A distinctive feature of this variety is the double, ruffled petal edges in purple-purplish tones with golden margins, giving the plant an elegant and decorative appearance. This lily boasts abundant, prolonged flowering and the ability to rebloom, making it especially attractive to gardeners.

This plant is low-maintenance and adapts well to various growing conditions. It prefers sunny locations, withstands wind well, and thrives where other decorative perennials may feel stressed. It easily tolerates transplanting anytime from early spring to late autumn, quickly roots, and may bloom in the same season. Persian Jewel Lilies are long-lived, capable of growing in the same spot for up to 15 years. However, their decorative appeal and lush flowering are best maintained during the first 5–7 years, after which flowering stems become less frequent and flowers become smaller. In such cases, dividing and transplanting the plant is recommended to rejuvenate it.
