Molfar's Lily - a perennial herbaceous plant with a rhizome system, distinguished by its decorative appeal and low maintenance requirements. The plant reaches a height of 60-70 cm, with linear, slender, light-green leaves that arch towards the ground. The flowers are bright yellow, double, approximately 10-12 cm in diameter, with a velvety texture and light stamens. Each flower opens for only one day, but due to abundant and prolonged blooming lasting about 25 days, the bush delights the eye for more than a month. Under favorable conditions, blooming may last longer, and the plant emits a pleasant fragrance. Molfar's Lily is prized for its vibrant color palette, including shades of white, peach, yellow, lemon, pink, and magenta, as well as bicolor varieties. These plants look striking in gardens, decorating borders, flowerbeds, and edges. They are adapted to the climate of Ukraine and can withstand temporary adverse conditions such as soil drying, overheating, winter salinity, and growth under tree canopies. They prefer sunny locations but can grow in partial shade, although they do not tolerate waterlogged soil. The optimal substrate is moderately moist, fertile, and well-drained soil. Care for Molfar's Lily is simple and includes planting or transplanting in early spring at the start of the vegetative season or in autumn after leaf pruning. The crown base should be planted no deeper than 1-2 cm. The plant is propagated by dividing the bush. Pruning is performed before frost, avoiding premature leaf removal to prevent stimulating new growth. Due to its resilience and decorative qualities, Molfar's Lily is widely used in urban landscaping, creating borders and mixed borders, adding vibrancy and liveliness to landscapes.
