Daylily Lily-like Perennials

Technical Specifications of the Hybrid

The 'Lypnevi Perelyvy' daylily, developed by the Kryvyi Rih Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine, is a hybrid designed to balance complex morphological aesthetics with high environmental resilience. This perennial is specifically engineered for decorative purposes, excelling in both formal flower beds and naturalistic garden layouts.

Morphological and Structural Analysis

• Flower Geometry: A distinct fusion of double (peony-like) texture and spider-type petal elongation. The long, narrow segments of the perianth create a complex, multi-layered silhouette that stands out from standard daylily cultivars.
• Color Dynamics: A two-toned color profile featuring a saturated yellow base complemented by deep burgundy accents. The high contrast between these zones creates a vibrant visual impact, effective even from a distance.
• Plant Resilience: The cultivar features sturdy scapes capable of supporting heavy, complex blooms. The root structure is optimized for efficient nutrient uptake, allowing for a prolonged flowering season and stability in varied weather conditions.

Landscape Implementation

From a design standpoint, 'Lypnevi Perelyvy' functions as a high-impact architectural element. Its spider-like, double petals provide a distinct texture that is essential for modern rabetka (border) design. Unlike standard hybrids, this variety maintains its structural integrity when planted in large groups, offering a consistent, high-contrast bloom cycle.

The hybrid reflects the rigorous selection standards of the Kryvyi Rih Botanical Garden, ensuring that it remains one of the most reliable choices for decorative plantings in temperate climates.
