Daylily Margarita

Durability and Operational Reliability

'Margarita' daylily is a practical choice for those who prioritize reliability in landscape maintenance. Bred at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden in Ukraine, this variety features exceptional winter hardiness down to -35°C. In real-world conditions, this means no winter protection is required, as the root system handles ground freezing well, reducing the operational load during off-seasons.

Dimensions and Spatial Adaptation

The plant exhibits versatile dimensions, ranging from 60 cm to 80 cm in height, while the flowers reach between 12 cm and 18 cm in diameter. This size flexibility allows it to be used effectively in flowerbeds, borders, or as a ground cover plant. 'Margarita' functions consistently well in both full sun and partial shade, providing maximum operational flexibility when planning landscaping layouts.

Maintenance and Aesthetic Cycle

With a blooming period lasting 60 days, the plant maintains a consistent visual appeal without the need for constant redesign or replanting. The vibrant pink color remains stable even under intense sun exposure. Maintenance is straightforward, limited to standard watering and periodic removal of spent blooms, minimizing the labor costs associated with site upkeep throughout the vegetation season.
