Smooth brome VZLET

Sustainable forage production with «Vzlet» Brome

The «Vzlet» smooth brome grass variety, developed by RosNIIPTI SK and Saratov GUGBI, is a high-performance choice for agricultural enterprises focusing on long-term forage cultivation. In modern livestock farming, where the quality of base feed is paramount, this variety offers a reliable solution for maximizing hay and pasture yields.

Practical application in the field

«Vzlet» is highly valued for its consistency in both diverse climate zones and soil types. Its winter hardiness ensures that pastures remain productive year after year, reducing the need for frequent reseeding and associated labor costs.

• Versatile Forage Utility: The variety is exceptionally well-suited for both hay production and grazing. Its palatability during the boot stage makes it a staple for maintaining optimal livestock health through a consistent green conveyor system.
• Operational Efficiency: Uniform maturity of the tillers simplifies the harvesting process, ensuring that forage is gathered at the peak of its nutritional value while minimizing losses.
• Soil Health Benefits: With a robust root system, «Vzlet» helps improve soil structure and prevents erosion, making it an excellent crop for land reclamation and soil management programs.

By integrating «Vzlet» into their cropping rotation, managers can secure a stable supply of nutrient-rich forage, ultimately improving the economic efficiency of the livestock cycle through reduced dependence on external feed inputs.
