Vulkan is a broad-spectrum herbicide designed to destroy all annual and perennial weeds. Its active component is glyphosate in the form of isopropylamine salt with a concentration of 480 g/l. The principle of operation is based on the penetration of glyphosate through the above-ground parts of the plant, after which it actively spreads to all organs, including the root system.
The effect of applying Vulkan becomes noticeable within 3–5 days: first, yellowing of leaves is observed, followed by their withering. Complete destruction of weeds is achieved within 4–8 days thanks to the improved product formulation. This makes it particularly effective against resistant plant species.
Vulkan belongs to Class III of danger and is considered low-toxicity. The drug does not harm bees, which is important for preserving biodiversity in the agroecosystem. Due to its efficiency and low toxicity, it is a reliable choice for agricultural enterprises striving for sustainable weed management.
