SIBNIIEK 10® Meadow Clover represents a single-cut type variety designed for agricultural use to improve soil and create resilient grassland ecosystems. It is a perennial legume growing up to 83 cm tall with a semi-erect, multi-stemmed bush that is well-leafed (up to 67%). The inflorescences are spherical with bright pink petals. Seeds of this variety weigh between 1.6 and 1.85 grams for 1000 pieces. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, surpassing the standard 'Aisinovsky Local' in these indicators, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions in Russia. SIBNIIEK 10 Meadow Clover prefers fertile, drained soils and requires moderate moisture, not tolerating excess water or salinization. The plant belongs to entomophilous cultures pollinated by bumblebees, which promotes effective fruit formation—single-seeded pods with yellow or purple oval seeds. Due to its biological characteristics, the variety contributes to increased soil fertility through nitrogen fixation, which positively affects subsequent crops and the overall grassland ecosystem. SIBNIIEK 10 has been included in the State Register since 1993 and is recommended for cultivation in the West Siberian region. Its high resistance to adverse climatic conditions and diseases, as well as good leafiness and decorative appearance, make this variety in demand for creating high-quality forage lands and restoring grassland ecosystems. Using this variety contributes to increased yield and improved forage quality, which is important for livestock farming and agricultural production.
