Danieper millet – a perennial grassless grain plant grown for hay and green mass production. The stems of this culture are dense and nutritious, rich in microelements and vitamins, making it an excellent feed for livestock.
The culture is characterized by a well-developed root system capable of reaching a depth of over two meters. This ensures high drought resistance and resilience to various climatic conditions and soil types. Millet withstands severe winter frosts well, making it suitable for cultivation in a wide range of regions.
For hay harvesting, it is important not to allow the plant to bloom, as this causes the grass to become tough. With proper care, millet can yield two full harvests and reach a yield of 100 kg/ha. In a pasture, it withstands five full grazing cycles. The recommended sowing rate is 180–200 g per hectare (100 m²). The culture is produced in Ukraine, packaged in polyethylene bags weighing 1 kg.
