Kyivlyanka fire log – a portable fire created by engineer Nikolai Palamarчук from Kyiv. It is designed in the form of a cylindrical pine log and is equipped with two holes: a vertical one for ignition and a horizontal one through which air enters. At the bottom, where these holes intersect, there is an ignition brick made of a mixture of sawdust and paraffin, which ensures a fast and reliable fire.
The fire log is easy to ignite and burns for 1.5 to 3.5 hours depending on size. Thanks to the use of scraps and standing deadwood, it remains eco-friendly and economical, and does not pollute clothes or the trunk. The pine chosen as material provides a beautiful and bright flame, while producing more waste compared to other species.
The fire log can be used repeatedly: after burning out, it can be covered with grass or doused with water to extinguish, then ignited again. It is intended for situations where firewood is purchased in stores or gas stations, and there is no need to transport large volumes of wood.
