Grape Larni Muscat

Genetics and Cultivation Profile

The "Larni Muskatnaya" grape variety is a product of rigorous scientific research conducted by the SKFNTSVV. Developed as a table variety, it focuses on combining an early-to-mid ripening cycle with a robust vegetative growth habit, making it a reliable choice for commercial and private table grape cultivation.

Key Technical Characteristics

The variety is characterized by high vigor. This strong growth potential requires meticulous trellising and canopy management to ensure optimal sap flow and light penetration, which are essential for developing the characteristic muscat profile.

• Bunch structure: Compact, weighing between 300–500 grams. This mid-range mass ensures structural stability of the vine during the ripening phase.
• Berry development: Varies from 2g to 8g. This sizing range reflects the variety's potential under optimal nutritional and moisture conditions.
• Organoleptic properties: Defined by a distinct muscat flavor, making it a preferred selection for fresh consumption.

Field Application and Management

Designed strictly for fresh consumption, "Larni Muskatnaya" demands precise cluster thinning to maintain berry quality. Its strong growth cycle is a significant advantage, as it allows the vine to recover quickly and support high-quality fruit production year after year. The early-to-mid maturity window provides flexibility for harvest scheduling, allowing growers to manage labor and market timing effectively without compromising the flavor integrity of the muscat grapes.
