Description Emerald
Emerald grape is a promising table grape variety known for its early ripening period. It was bred to create a hybrid form adapted to local climatic conditions, with a vegetative period of about 110-120 days. The bushes are characterized by vigorous growth and good cane ripening, while the leaves are wide and deep green. The flowers are perfect (hermaphroditic), ensuring reliable pollination and the formation of large, conical clusters weighing from 800 to 1400 grams. The berries are large, round, fleshy and juicy with a pleasant light muscat flavor and are not prone to shattering.

The Emerald variety is distinguished by high yield and excellent commercial qualities, including good transportability and a long storage period, making it in demand among viticulturists. It possesses resistance to many diseases, which reduces the need for intensive chemical treatment and promotes ecological cultivation. Meanwhile, there is a variety called Black Emerald, which is a seedless variety with a very early ripening period — about 105-110 days. The clusters of this variety are dense, conical in shape, up to 20 cm in length and weighing up to 600-800 grams, while the berries are small, round or slightly oval, weighing 3-5 grams, with a firm, crunchy flesh and jet-black skin.

Black Emerald is characterized by high yield; with proper agrotechnology, the bushes can carry more than 50 clusters. The cane ripens well, and the cold hardiness of the variety reaches -23°C. However, this variety is less resistant to fungal diseases, which requires careful care. Thanks to its characteristics, both varieties of Emerald grape are suitable for cultivation in various conditions, providing a quality and tasty harvest.
