YermaK grape variety is a hybrid form bred by breeder V.N. Kraynov. This table grape is distinguished by its early ripening period — in Novocherkassk conditions, the berries ripen in the first decade of August, and the total ripening period is 120-125 days. The bushes are vigorous with large, dark green leaves with 5 lobes. The clusters are conical in shape, of medium density, and very large — the average cluster weight reaches 700 g and can go up to 1500 g, while the clusters are not prone to shattering. The berries are oval, amber-yellow, large, weighing from 8 to 12 g, with fleshy and juicy pulp, practically without a noticeable skin. The taste is harmonious with a pronounced muscat aroma, which makes this variety especially attractive to consumers.
The berries have high sugar content — about 19.6 g per 100 cm³, and acidity is approximately 5.5 g/dm³, which ensures a pleasant taste balance. The bushes are characterized by high yield and marketability; the percentage of fruiting shoots reaches 70-75%, and the fruitfulness coefficient is 1.1. The load on the bushes is 30-40 shoots; pruning to 6-8 buds is recommended for optimal development. The berries have high transportability, which allows maintaining quality during transport and storage.
The YermaK variety has good frost resistance — it withstands temperatures down to minus 23-24 °C. Resistance to fungal diseases and grape diseases is assessed as medium or high, which eases care and reduces the risk of yield losses. The recommended planting scheme is 3.0-3.5 x 1.5-2.0 meters, which promotes optimal bush development and high productivity. All these characteristics make the YermaK grape an excellent choice for growing in both private gardens and commercial vineyards.
