Description Dessert Pear
Summer variety from the Sverdlovsk Experimental Garden Station. Obtained by pollinating the 'Tema' variety with a mixture of pollen from 'Bessemyan' and 'Early Finnish Yellow'. Breeders: P. A. Dibrova and L. A. Kотов. Approved for the Volga-Vyatka region. Mainly cultivated in private and dacha gardens.

Tree is weakly branched, with a rounded, medium-density crown. Main branches have smooth gray bark, branch off the trunk at right angles, directed upward and sideways. Fruit production occurs on simple and complex buds, as well as on fruiting spurs.

Shoots with yellowish bark, medium thickness, straight, slightly hairy, round in cross-section. Leaves are elongated-oval, slightly curved downward, with finely serrated or entire margins, shiny.

Fruits are small, ribbed, pear-shaped-oval, yellowish, on long pedicels, with a half-open calyx.
Flesh is tender, low in juice, with good sweet flavor. Chemical composition of fruits: soluble solids — 15%, sugars — 12.0%, titratable acids — 0.69%, ascorbic acid — 5 mg/100g, P-active substances (catechins) — 125.3 mg/100g.

Fruits ripen in mid-August and can be stored for no more than a week.

Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, annual fruiting, sweet taste.

Disadvantages of the variety: small fruit size, short shelf life.
