Description

The 'Etud' grape variety represents a new hybrid form with very early ripening — from 95 to 100 days. The vines of this variety are vigorous, ensuring high yield, but require mandatory cluster thinning to maintain fruit quality. The flower is bisexual, and pollination proceeds well, contributing to stable fruit set.

The clusters of 'Etud' grapes are large, medium-density, cylindrical in shape, weighing from 700 to 1400 grams. The berries are very large, elongated in shape with a characteristic indentation at the tip, weighing about 18–20 grams. Their color is dark blue, and the flesh is dense, crisp-textured, and juicy-fleshy. The taste is harmonious, with pronounced creamy notes, making this variety attractive for fresh consumption as table grapes.

The variety exhibits good cold resistance, tolerating temperatures down to -23°C, which expands its cultivation potential in cold-climate regions. Currently, resistance to diseases such as mildew, oidium, and gray mold is being studied. Due to its early ripening, large and tasty berries, and high yield, 'Etud' grape is a promising choice for gardeners and viticulturists.
