The Manych grape variety is the result of crossing the hybrid form XV-8-34 and the Mizia variety. This early technical variety is distinguished by its high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -25 °C, and also possesses significant resistance to fungal diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
Manych grapevines are characterized by vigorous growth and can yield high harvests, reaching 11-15 tons per hectare. The berries of this variety have good sugar content within 17-20 g per 100 cm³ and acidity of 7-9 g per dm³, ensuring an optimal balance for winemaking.
The main application of the Manych variety is related to the production of natural dry and semi-dessert red wines. Thanks to its characteristics, this grape is suitable for creating quality wines with a rich taste and aroma, making it in demand among winemakers.
