Assol

The Assol grape variety represents a unique seedless table raisin of medium ripening period, developed by Potapenko Y. I. This variety is distinguished by its high yield and stable fruit quality. The bunches are large, cylinder-cone shaped, weighing from 400 to 700 grams, and have a medium density. The berries are elongated with a pointed tip, bright pink in color, weighing 2.5-4 grams, with a dense but not thick skin and juicy, fleshy pulp. The taste is harmonious and sweet, making this grape especially attractive for fresh consumption and drying.

The bushes of the Assol variety are vigorous, with good wood maturation and a high percentage of fruit-bearing shoots (55-60%). The bud load is 30-40 per bush, which ensures a medium yield of about 3.2 kg per bush at a planting density of 3x0.5 m. The variety has high frost resistance down to -26°C and resistance to fungal diseases such as mildew and oidium, which significantly facilitates care and reduces the risk of crop losses.

Assol is well suited for cultivation in the climatic conditions of southern Ukraine and other regions with similar parameters. Thanks to its high transportability and excellent taste qualities, this variety is in demand both for the fresh market and for the production of dried grapes. High rooting of cuttings and stable fruiting make it a promising choice for viticulturists seeking to obtain a high-quality and tasty crop.
