Seeds of this variety begin to germinate at temperatures from 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, and seedlings can withstand brief frosts, making it resistant to adverse weather conditions in early spring. Fairy requires adequate moisture and prefers sunny locations, as plants significantly weaken in the absence of sufficient light.

For successful cultivation of Fairy pea, loamy and loamy sand soils with neutral acidity are considered optimal. The best predecessors for this crop are corn, beets, and potatoes. Sowing is recommended in early spring, placing seeds in rows with a distance between them of 40-50 cm, and within the row every 5-10 cm, at a sowing depth of 3-6 cm. To ensure a continuous crop supply, sowings can be repeated several times during the spring period.
