Description PLUTON
Blackcurrant variety Pluton is an American variety developed jointly by Novosibirsk ZPJAOS and CSBS SO RAS. This variety was included in the State Register and allowed for use throughout the territory of Russia. Pluton bushes are medium-sized and strongly spreading, with medium-length shoots that are curved and have a drooping top, which gives the plant a decorative appearance and facilitates fruit harvesting.

Blackcurrant Pluton berries are large, oval-shaped, weighing from 1.1 to 1.6 grams, and have a rich black color. The fruits are characterized by a sweet taste with a pleasant aroma, making them attractive for fresh consumption and processing. Berries detach dry, which facilitates harvesting and reduces fruit damage.

The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching from 6.3 to 10 tons per hectare. It has high winter hardiness and resistance to diseases and pests, which significantly reduces care costs and increases the reliability of cultivation. Blackcurrant Pluton is easily propagated by various methods, which facilitates its cultivation and spread.
