Description AUGUST NIGHT
The August Night currant variety is a late-ripening black currant that matures in late July to early August. The bushes of this variety are vigorous, powerful, and slightly spreading; under the weight of the harvest, they may bend towards the ground, so they require tying to support them. The berries are large, reaching a weight of up to 3.5 grams, have a black glossy color, and ripen almost simultaneously, which facilitates harvesting.

In terms of taste, the berries of August Night have a sour-sweet shade with a pronounced currant aroma. The variety is distinguished by high yield – with proper care, more than four kilograms of berries can be collected from one bush per season. Thanks to its resistance to various diseases and pests, as well as increased drought resistance, this variety is excellent for growing in various climatic conditions.

August Night is perfect for freezing and processing into desserts, compotes, and other culinary items. Seedlings of this variety are distinguished by their longevity and are able to provide a bountiful harvest for many years, which makes it an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers.
