Green pea variety "Bohatyr" is one of the largest and tastiest pea varieties. It is both early and mid-season, distinguished by high yield and large dark-green pods with peas that remain sweet and juicy for a long time. Plants reach a height of 55 to 70 cm, have dense foliage, and the pods have a conical shape with a pointed tip. The pea flesh is succulent and meaty, with wall thickness of 6-8 mm, making it especially attractive for culinary use.
The "Bohatyr" variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including ascochitosis, fusarium, and tobacco mosaic virus, and is practically not damaged by pod borers or subject to tip rot. Due to its adaptability, it grows well in various soil-climatic conditions, making it universally suitable for cultivation throughout the growing season. The maturation period is 50 to 55 days, and yield can reach up to 70 tons per hectare.
The "Bohatyr" pea is rich in fiber, proteins, vitamins, and minerals, making it beneficial for health. It supports cardiovascular health, helps regulate blood sugar levels, and contributes to the prevention of chronic diseases. In cooking, peas are used to prepare a variety of dishes, such as soups, salads, meatballs, and dumplings.
