Garlic Zolochivskiy Castle

Field Performance and Production Insights

The "Zolochivskyi Zamok" garlic variety is a reliable choice for commercial growers focusing on consistency and marketability. As an Ukrainian-bred winter cultivar, it delivers predictable results within a 100-110 day growth cycle. This timing allows for efficient crop rotation management and precise planning for the harvest season.

Cultivation and Handling

From an operational standpoint, this variety is highly efficient. The structure of the bulb, characterized by large, uniform cloves and a clean white outer skin, facilitates mechanical harvesting and post-harvest processing. You will experience minimal sorting losses, and the cloves remain intact, reducing damage during transit. With an expected yield of 2.0-2.5 kg/m², it performs reliably under standard agricultural practices, making it a low-stress crop to manage.

Storage and Marketability

One of the strongest attributes of "Zolochivskyi Zamok" is its shelf life. The bulbs maintain their structural integrity and weight throughout the storage period, which is crucial for sellers who target long-term supply chains. Its white, attractive appearance makes it a premium product for the fresh market, ensuring quick turnover without high storage losses.
