Garlic NOVGORODSKIY

Technical profile of winter garlic "Novgorodsky"

"Novgorodsky" is a product of professional breeding by the Federal Research Center for Horticulture. It is a winter bolting garlic variety, adapted to harsh climatic conditions and focused on high-quality commercial production for both the fresh market and industrial processing.

Morphological parameters and yield

The key performance indicator of this variety is the stable formation of large bulbs. Under optimal agricultural conditions, the average weight of a marketable head ranges from 80 to 120 grams. The cloves are large, which is a critical factor for mechanized planting and minimizing waste during primary processing.

• Skin color: classic white, ensuring an attractive commercial appearance.
• Taste profile: pronounced pungency, characteristic of varieties with high essential oil content.
• Storage capability: the variety has an extended dormancy period, allowing for effective storage until spring with minimal loss of mass and quality.

Production efficiency

Choosing this variety is justified for agribusinesses focused on a stable output of marketable products. Due to its bolting nature, the variety demonstrates predictable growth dynamics. The dense structure of the bulb and a resilient skin minimize mechanical damage during harvesting and transportation. "Novgorodsky" is ideal for retail distribution in the fresh market and is highly valued in industrial processing due to its intense, sharp flavor profile.
