Iren

Iren garlic is a new winter variety specially developed for cultivation in Ukraine. The variety was created taking into account the specifics of the Ukrainian climate, soil, and local conditions, ensuring its high adaptability and resistance to diseases typical of the country's regions. The garlic bulbs are large, white with a pinkish hue, and form 4 to 7 large cloves. The plant reaches a height of up to 120 cm, and the harvest can be collected as early as 90 days after planting, starting from late May to early June.

The Iren variety is characterized by high yield — potentially up to 200-220 kg per hundred square meters (20-22 t/ha), making it profitable for farmers. Additionally, the garlic has good winter hardiness and storability, allowing the harvest to be stored for up to 10 months, and according to some data — up to 12 months — ensuring prolonged preservation of quality and freshness. The high content of dry matter in the cloves depends on weather conditions and the place of cultivation, which affects the taste and technological properties of the product.

Moreover, the Iren variety has good appearance and is suitable for cultivation between rows of strawberries, expanding its application in agronomy. Due to its disease resistance, high yield, and long storage period, Iren garlic is an optimal choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain a high-quality and stable harvest.
