Dukat

Dukat garlic is a semi-early winter-hardy variety intended for autumn planting. It features large bulbs weighing 75 to 90 grams, composed of 5–7 cloves with white outer skins. Due to its high essential oil content, this variety has a rich aroma and pleasant taste, making it popular among gardeners and farmers.

Dukat is characterized by high resistance to disease-causing pathogens and good winter hardiness, allowing successful cultivation in Ukraine. The variety is a sprouting type and can be propagated by cloves, single cloves, and airborne seeds. The recommended planting scheme is 30 by 13 centimeters, which promotes optimal plant development and high yields.

One significant advantage of this variety is its long storage life, enabling garlic to retain its quality until the next harvest. Dukat seeds are suitable for planting in open ground or in the fall, with minimal care required.
