Description KUDRAIF
Kudraif is a medium-sized hazelnut variety obtained by free pollination of the 'Moscow' variety and bred in Ivanteevka. The tree reaches a height of up to 3.5 m, has a round canopy of medium density, branches grow at an angle, and the leaves are oval, smooth, shiny reddish-pink in color with a bronze-red hue.

The fruits of the Kudraif variety are of medium size (about 2 g), have a slightly elongated shape and a pointed tip. The skin is brownish-yellow, smooth with weak stripes. The kernel accounts for approximately 51.8% of the fruit mass, and the fat content is about 68%. The nuts are rich in proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals, making them a versatile product for both nutrition and the food industry.

The variety is characterized by high yield: from one tree you can collect from 2 to 4 kg of nuts. The fruits ripen in mid-September, and the tree withstands cold winters and is resistant to severe frosts. Kudraif prefers moist chernozem soils with pH from 5.5 to 7.0, but grows on a wide range of substrates, including forest and agricultural lands. Thanks to the combination of high fruit yield, good winter hardiness, and nutritional value, Kudraif is a popular choice for gardeners and nut producers.
