CHAMPION is a kiwi cultivar, representing a small kiwi with bright green skin and an oval, slightly elongated fruit shape. The fruits weigh around 2.7 grams, have an olive hue, and feature juicy flesh with a soft sweet or sweet-and-sour flavor, accompanied by a strong fruity aroma.
The cultivar boasts high yields: one bush can produce up to 8 kg of berries during the summer. Flowers appear in mid-May, while fruits ripen in the second half of September. Thanks to its hardiness and resistance to bacterial and fungal diseases, CHAMPION is easy to grow even in colder climatic conditions.
The Actinidia 'Champion' is rich in vitamins and minerals: vitamin C content can reach 2200 mg, making the fruit an excellent antioxidant. It also contains potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and dietary fiber, while remaining low in calories. This makes the berries an ideal product for maintaining tone, improving well-being, and preventing skin aging.
