KIVALDI

Actinidia Kivaldi is a variety of Actinidia deliciosa, a woody vine with strong growth and branching. The leaves are large, dark green, and non-variegated, ensuring good photosynthesis and resistance to sunlight.

Kivaldi fruits are of medium size (around 75 g) up to 100 g, elliptical in shape with a thin skin. The color is dark brown, and the flavor combines a sweet-sour character with a characteristic actinidia aroma. The berries contain 10.6% sugars and 1.4% acids, making them pleasant to taste and healthy. Vitamin C content in the fruit reaches 98.2 mg, confirming its high nutritional value.

The variety's yield is 228.4 c/ha, and the plants are self-sterile, requiring a pollinator for maximum fruit set. Kivaldi does not shed and is resistant to diseases and pests, reducing the need for chemical control. The variety is not winter-hardy, so its cultivation is limited to subtropical regions with a humid climate, where it demonstrates stable fruiting and good adaptability to changing weather conditions.
