Taizhny Dar – a perennial shrub of the vine family, reaching a height of up to eight meters. The plant is characterized by large light-green leaves and bright berries, which are juicy and sweet. The fruits have an average mass from 7.6 g to 15.1 g, a flat-round shape with medium-thickness skin. Inside, there is about 12.4% sugar and 1.6% acid, as well as more than 100 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product, making the berries a valuable source of antioxidants.
For cultivation, the sapling is supplied in an unpacked root system, which must be stored at a temperature from 0 to +2 °C until planting. The plant withstands cold well and has high winter hardiness, which allows it to be used in various climatic conditions. For optimal growth, a warm place protected from drafts is required; the soil should be well-drained, rich in nutrients, and have a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction.
Taizhny Dar is easy to grow on open beds with support – a fence, gazebo, or wall, since the plant grows as a vine. The yield reaches 34.4 c/ha, and the berries have a sweet-sour taste and a strong pineapple aroma, which makes them popular both for fresh consumption and for making juices and desserts. The plant is resistant to diseases and pests, so it requires minimal care after planting.
