Patricia is a late-maturing actinidia variety, known for its high yield and cold hardiness. The plant is of medium height and female type, reaching up to 4–5 meters, and requires light support. Leaves are green and of medium thickness, while the fruits are ellipsoid with red-purple skin resembling kiwi in appearance.
Patricia fruits are characterized by juicy pulp and a rich actinidia aroma. They are large (approximately 75–80 g) and have a light green color with small seeds that are almost invisible on the surface. The taste of the fruits combines notes of strawberry and pineapple, making them popular both for fresh consumption and for making desserts.
The variety is noted for its good frost resistance—withstanding temperatures down to -35 °C, as well as being resistant to diseases and pests. Yield reaches 26.9 c/ha, and fruiting begins in September–October. Patricia is easily cultivated as both a decorative and fruit-bearing plant, thanks to its attractive appearance and high-quality fruit flavor.
