KORA is a variety of Tall Fescue (Festuca arundinacea) intended for both feed and decorative purposes. It is characterized by high productivity: under optimal conditions it yields a good harvest of dry mass, and it has excellent digestibility, which has been confirmed by official tests in Sweden.
The variety is drought-resistant and winter-hardy, capable of withstanding temperatures down to -26 °C. This makes KORA suitable for cultivation in a wide range of climatic zones – from moderately dry soils with pH 6–8 to well-drained loose soils. The plant prefers sunny locations but can also grow in partial shade.
KORA is easily cultivated both in open ground and in containers or alpine gardens. Minimum care: periodic watering, soil loosening, and weed removal. If necessary, fungicide and insecticide treatments can be carried out to protect against fungal diseases and pests. Thanks to its resilience to adverse conditions, KORA is a reliable choice for both pastures and as a decorative element of a garden.
