Description KRASKI LETA
KRASKI LETA — mid-season eggplant variety with a maturation period of 110-115 days, suitable for growing in both open and closed ground. The plant is tall, reaching up to 1.5 meters in height in greenhouses, and well-leafed. For open ground, staking to stakes is recommended, especially in southern regions. When growing, it is important to shape the plant by removing all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, and leaving only the 5-6 largest fruits on the plant, removing the remaining flowers and fruits for better fruit development.

Variety fruits have a velvety surface and an elongated pear shape with a weight of 180-190 grams. Their coloration varies from brown to yellow-brown. The flesh is white, dense, tender, and tasty, without bitterness, with a slight mushroom aroma. Thanks to these qualities, fruits are ideal for preparing vegetable appetizers, stuffed rolls, caviar, and canning.

Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late February, pinching in the cotyledon stage, and seedling planting in late May with adherence to a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. This approach ensures optimal conditions for growth and fruiting, allowing to obtain a quality harvest of tasty and useful eggplants.
