KRASAVCHIK

The Krasavchik eggplant variety is a mid-season and high-yielding variety with a vegetative period of about 70-75 days from seedling transplantation. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of up to 60 cm, with a branching structure, sturdy stems, and dense foliage. It is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as the ability to retain fruit even under unfavorable weather conditions, ensuring a stable yield both in greenhouses and in open ground or under film coverings. The variety quickly adapts to agronomic conditions and does not require frequent fertilization or complex care. Krasavchik eggplant fruits are large, oval-cylindrical or oval-heart-shaped, with a deep purple saturated color and a thin skin. Fruit length reaches 12-14 cm, diameter 4-5 cm, and weight varies from 110 to 250 grams. The flesh is light cream, dense, tender, and bitter-free, making this variety particularly tasty and versatile in cooking. Fruits maintain their appearance well during transportation and long-term storage, not losing their taste qualities after thermal processing. The Krasavchik variety is ideal for various uses: fresh consumption, canning, pickling, freezing, and drying. Thanks to its frost resistance and pest resistance, eggplants can be grown both in open and closed ground. For seedling production, it is recommended to use seeds with a sowing depth of 1-2 cm, a rate of 0.8 g per 10 m², and a planting density of 15-35 plants per 10 m².
