BLACK MASTER

The eggplant variety Black Master is a mid-season or early-mid-season variety with a ripening period of 110 to 130 days. The plant is semi-spread, upright, and reaches a height of 140-160 cm. The fruits have an elongated pear shape with a slight thickening towards the top, colored dark purple, almost black. Their length is 15-18 cm, diameter 6-8 cm, and weight varies from 280 to 400 grams. The fruit flesh is white, making them versatile for various culinary purposes. The variety is grown both in protected and open ground, predominantly in southern regions. Sowing for seedlings is recommended at the end of February, with pricking out at the cotyledon stage. Seedlings are planted out at the end of May. To form the plant, all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork must be removed, which promotes better development and yield. The variety yields from 2.5 to 7.3 kg per square meter. Black Master is characterized by high resistance to diseases such as phloem necrosis and mosaic, which increases growing reliability and crop quality. The fruits are widely used in home cooking, suitable for canning and processing into vegetable jam, making this variety versatile and in demand among gardeners and eggplant enthusiasts.
