Eggplant CHARCOAL

Reliable Yields in Diverse Environments

The «Ugolek» eggplant variety from the breeding company Greenomica is a time-tested cultivar that has established a solid reputation in the mid-ripening crop segment. Developed by the team at Greenomica (Dr. Green), the variety is designed to meet the needs of growers who prioritize consistency and predictability in their harvest.

Agronomic Profile

The defining feature of this variety is its plasticity. The plant develops with equal efficiency in protected soil (greenhouses, cold frames) and in open field conditions. This makes «Ugolek» a preferred choice for both small-scale farming and private gardening.

• Fruit Geometry: Classic pear shape with firm, glossy skin in a deep, dark-purple hue.
• Dimensional Standards: The fruits range from 12 to 25 cm in length, meeting the standard requirements for both culinary processing and storage.
• Environmental Adaptability: The variety exhibits resistance to temperature fluctuations, which are common in the regions of its cultivation.

The market position of this variety is built on the balance between visual appeal and flavor. The flesh of the «Ugolek» eggplant is not prone to excessive bitterness, a quality highly valued by consumers and culinary professionals. The stability of its fruiting cycle allows growers to effectively manage their harvest schedules, even when weather conditions are less than optimal.
