BLACK MAGESTY

The Black Magesty eggplant is an early-maturing hybrid with a semi-spreading plant of medium height. The plant stem is colored with medium-intensity anthocyanin and has weak pubescence. The leaf blade is large, green, and smooth, with a margin that is slightly wavy. This appearance makes the plant attractive and easy to grow in various conditions.

The fruits of the Black Magesty eggplant have an oval shape and are distinguished by a dark purple, almost black, glossy color. They are of medium and large size, with a mass varying from 260 to 500 grams, usually around 380-420 grams. The calyx has rare spines, which facilitates harvesting. The flesh of the fruits is whitish, dense, and does not contain bitterness, ensuring excellent taste qualities after culinary processing. Seeds are located mainly in the lower part of the fruit.

This variety is characterized by high yield, especially under open-field conditions in southern regions, where from one square meter one can collect from 6.5 to 9.5 kilograms of marketable fruits. Thanks to its characteristics, Black Magesty is suitable for various methods of preparation, including frying, baking, and stewing, making it a universal choice for home and commercial cultivation.
