MEGANOM

MEGANOM is an early-maturing eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) variety, distinguished by high yield and attractive fruits. The plant has a compact, very tall form with a densely hairy stem without anthocyanin pigmentation. Leaves are of medium size, green in color, smooth with a slightly wavy edge, giving the plant a neat and healthy appearance.

Fruits of the MEGANOM variety have a bullet shape of medium length and a small diameter. Their surface is smooth, glossy, and a rich purple color. The calyx of the fruit is sparsely covered with thorns, which facilitates harvest collection. The eggplant flesh is greenish in tint, lacks bitterness, making it especially tasty and pleasant to eat.

The average mass of one fruit is about 150 grams, which allows eggplants of this variety to be used both for fresh consumption and culinary processing. The yield of marketable fruits in open ground in southern regions reaches 2.3 kg per square meter, indicating the high productivity of the variety and its suitability for cultivation in open ground conditions.
