Eggplant Gagat

Sustainable Field Performance

The «Gagat» eggplant variety, produced by PP «Agrosvit», is a strategic choice for open-field cultivation. Designed for farmers who prioritize reliability, this variety performs exceptionally well in standard field conditions, proving its worth where resistance and resilience are paramount.

Advanced Disease Resistance

The standout feature of «Gagat» is its robust phytosanitary profile. It possesses strong natural resistance to downy mildew (peronosporosis) and shows high efficacy in preventing powdery mildew. For an agricultural enterprise, this translates into a practical advantage: fewer fungicide applications are needed throughout the season, effectively lowering production costs while maintaining a cleaner, healthier crop.

Market-Ready Produce

When harvested, «Gagat» produces rounded fruits weighing between 200 and 300 grams. The deep, dark-purple skin with subtle green undertones offers excellent shelf appeal. Thanks to the fruit’s density, it holds up well during transport and handling, making it a favorite for regional wholesale distribution and retail supply chains.

• Cultivation: Specifically optimized for open-field environments.
• Health: Resistant to peronosporosis; high tolerance for powdery mildew.
• Output: Standardized fruit size (200-300g) ideal for mass-market retail.

Implementing «Gagat» in your planting schedule is an effective way to streamline field operations and ensure a consistent yield that meets professional quality requirements.
