Eldorado

El Dorado F1 — an early-maturing eggplant hybrid that ripens in 60-65 days after transplanting seedlings. This variety features a strong, vigorous plant with a robust root system and medium-height bushes, ensuring good leaf cover and protection of fruits from sunburn. Leaves reliably shield the fruits, preserving their deep purple color and glossy surface. The plant exhibits high adaptability and resistance to adverse conditions, including cold tolerance and tolerance to wet soil. El Dorado fruits are cylindrical, 19-22 cm long and 7-8 cm in diameter, with an average weight ranging from 200 to 300 grams; under drip irrigation, the weight may exceed 300 grams. The fruit skin is shiny, deep purple, and the flesh is white, dense, and free of bitterness, making the eggplants especially tasty after cooking. Buds on the calyx are rare or absent, simplifying harvest and handling. The El Dorado F1 hybrid shows high resistance to diseases, particularly Fusarium and Verticillium wilt, significantly improving cultivation reliability. Due to its early maturity and high yield, this variety is widely used for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and tunnels, and is recommended for fresh produce markets and processing. Recommended planting density is approximately 40,000 plants per hectare, allowing efficient land use and consistent yields.
