Vegetable Pea Druzhny

Druzhny vegetable pea is an early-maturing sugar pea variety with a vegetation period of 55-57 days from seedling emergence to the first harvest. The plants are medium-sized, reaching a height of 60-70 cm and require staking for optimal growth. Pods are light green, slightly curved, 9-11 cm long, and contain 7 to 9 peas. They feature fleshy walls without a parchment layer, ensuring excellent grain taste. The variety is valued for its high yield, reaching 1.3 kg per square meter, and its early maturity. Druzhny pea is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and canning. It is recommended for early spring sowing on sunny plots with a seed burial depth of 4-6 cm and a planting scheme of 15 cm between plants and 30 cm between rows. The plants are hardy, form a crop uniformly, and possess drought resistance. Each package contains 10 seeds, allowing easy planning of planting on small plots. Due to its characteristics, the Druzhny variety is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking an early and high-quality harvest of sugar peas with excellent taste qualities.
