Legacy

Vegetable pea Legacy is a medium-early variety with a period from full germination to the beginning of technical maturity of 51-57 days. The plant is powerful and branched with medium-length stems and leaves of medium and large size, colored in green and dark green. Pods of this variety are short and medium length, narrow, with a blunt tip, acquiring a dark green shade at technical maturity. Seeds are wrinkled and small, and the yield of green peas from pods is 44-49%. The taste qualities of fresh peas are rated as good and excellent, with a pleasant sweetish taste and aroma.

Pea Legacy is excellent for growing in open ground and is a great raw material for freezing and fresh consumption. In canned form, the peas retain their shape, making them a versatile product for various processing and storage methods. Pods of this variety are hollow-free, each may contain up to 15 peas, which contributes to high yield and fruit attractiveness.

For successful growing of pea Legacy, it is recommended to soak the seeds in warm water until swelling before sowing, and the depth of planting in the soil should be 2-3 cm. After planting, the beds need to be watered abundantly. The recommended planting scheme is 30 cm between bushes and 40 cm between rows. To prevent wilting of plants, supports should be used, which will provide optimal conditions for growth and development of the crop.
