SILVER CARPET DILL

Dill of the variety "Silver Carpet" is a high-yield variety bred by classical selection methods. It is distinguished by the excellent taste qualities of its greens and strong aroma, making it an excellent choice for culinary use and preparing dry spices. The leaf rosette of this variety is strong, dense, and semi-lifted, while the leaves themselves are silver in color with a waxy coating, tender, and of medium size.

One of the key advantages of the variety is the late flowering period, which significantly extends the period of green mass yield. Market readiness is achieved 45-55 days after germination, and by the beginning of flowering, plant height reaches one meter. Thanks to these characteristics, dill "Silver Carpet" allows for obtaining greens for a long period.

To ensure continuous green harvest, several repeat sowings per season are recommended. Before sowing, seeds are best soaked for a day with 3-4 water changes. Winter sowing of dry seeds at the end of October – beginning of November is also possible, which promotes early plant development in the following season.
